Wild & Co has a fleet of 41 double Mission Surge kayaks for hire.

This commercial grade fleet of kayaks are easy to use and great to paddle. They are suitable for everyone from school groups, school camps to corporate groups.

Hire can include delivery and pick-up, kayak paddles and PFDs (life jackets). They’re a 2+1 design which means you can paddle them as 1, 2 or 3 people.

We regularly service south east Queensland with options of rental as far as North Queensland or Victoria an option in available.

Kayak Hire Terms and Conditions

Wild&Co Pty Ltd (W&C)

• W&C allows the Hirer to take the Kayaks for the time period specified in this Quote

• W&C will provide the Kayaks clean and in good working order.

Risk

• If the Kayaks are collected by the Hirer, the Kayaks are the Hirer’s risk when the Kayaks leave the premises of W&C.

• If the Kayaks are delivered to the Hirer, the Kayaks are at the Hirer’s risk from when the Kayaks leave W&C’ vehicle.

• If the Kayaks are delivered by the Hirer at the completing of the hire period, the Kayaks are at the risk of the Hirer until the Kayaks are in the storage premises of W&C.

• If the Kayaks are to be picked up by W&C at the completing of the hire period, the Kayaks are at the risk of the Hirer until the Kayaks are in W&C transport vehicle.

Obligations of the Hirer

• The Hirer warrants that the Kayaks will be returned to W&C in the same condition as they were before the commencement of the hire.

• The Hirer warrants that they possess the skills, qualifications and licenses required by law to transport, store, operate the Kayaks and to permit their use by others;

• The Hirer is responsible for ensuring any user possesses the skills, qualifications and licences required by law to transport, store and operate the Kayaks;

• The Hirer warrants the Kayaks will not be dragged on the ground;

• The Hirer warrants they have taken out and will keep in force any insurance that a reasonable hirer of this kind would take out including but not limited to public liability insurance not less than $10,000,000 and insurance covering repair or replacement of the Kayaks in the event the Kayaks are lost or damaged during use or whilst the Hirer bears the risk in the Kayaks

• The Hirer must report and provide full details to W&C of any accident or damage to the Kayaks within 1 business day of the accident or damage occurring.

• The Hirer must not tamper with, damage or repair the Kayaks or lose or part with possession of the Kayaks.

Indemnities

• The Hirer releases and indemnifies W&C from and against all claims by any person or party whatsoever (including without limitation, the Hirer or any of its agents, employees, contractors, or users) for injury to any person or persons and property (including without limitation, the Kayaks) caused by or in connection with or arising out of the hire and use of the Kayaks and any performance or non-performance of any other obligation under or in respect of this Agreement and in respect of all costs (including without limitation, legal costs) and charges in connection herewith.

• The Hirer indemnifies W&C against loss, theft or damage (fair wear and tear and minor scratches caused during the hirer excluded) to the Kayaks and is liable to W&C for all losses, costs (including without limitation, legal costs) and charges connected herewith.

• W&C recommends only using the Kayaks on flat water (inland waterways including dams, lakes, rivers and creeks) in calm conditions. The Hirer assumes full responsibility and fully indemnifies W&C should the Kayaks be taken outside of these conditions including but not limited to coastal paddling or winds greater than a gentle breeze (10 knots).

Safety

• If the Hirer permits others to use the Kayaks, the Hirer acknowledges that the Hirer is fully responsible for any induction or orientation the Competitor requires (by law or otherwise) to operate, store or transport the Kayaks.

Breach

• If the Hirer breaches these terms, or becomes bankrupt, insolvent or ceases business then W&C shall be entitled to terminate this Hire Agreement; and sue for recovery of all monies owing by the Hirer; and repossess the Kayaks (and is authorised to enter any premises where the Kayaks are located to do so).

• If the Hirer fails to return the Kayaks to W&C at the completion of the hire, the Hirer must pay to W&C the Per Day Charge of the Kayaks until the Kayaks are delivered back to W&C
